In 1997 Skelthwaite village (real name Slaithwaite) was the setting for the TV drama ‘Where The Heart Is’ and was the first time that a Bronte Water Cooler was seen on television when it was used as a prop in the Goddards Paper Disposables office. The Sunday night drama starred Sarah Lancashire, Pam Ferris, Thomas Craig, Tony Haygarth and Leslie Ash. Behind the scenes, other working models were replenishing the thirst of the TV stars and backroom staff alike with chilled Bronte Spring Water. Somebody there must have liked us there as a short time later we got a call from the crew of ‘Shameless’ when they started to film the series in Manchester. Bronte Water Coolers were again seen both in front of and behind the cameras.

Since then, Bronte Water Coolers have been seen on many TV programmes, including: ‘Life on Mars’, ‘No Angels’ filmed in Menston Hospital, ‘The Syndicate’ again with Tony Haygarth, all 4 series of ‘Mount Pleasant’, ‘Young Dracula’, both series of James Nesbit’s ‘Munroe’, ‘Fresh Meat’, ‘Death Comes to Pemberley’, ‘DCI Banks’ with Stephen Tomlinson, ‘Enid & Tubby’ (CBBC), ‘Peaky Blinders’ and the live spectacular ‘Bradford Bollywood’.

If you have a short term rental requirement, feel free to take advantage of the Bronte Water ‘No Contract’ policy for bottled water coolers. Give us a ring on 01484 667788 or email sales@brontewater.co.uk
